Apparently Susan Sarandon is in town to film The Battle in Seattle about the WTO rally. I have no idea who she plays in the film, but as a redhead who was at the protest, I wonder if it is is me?

I forgot to tell you that I went back to boot camp this week after a bit hiatus. And…for the first time I went all 5 days this week (yes, I skipped a few earlier in the year) so I’m pretty damn proud.

Anyway, I am very glad to be back and feeling like quite the wee athlete.

I am going home to NZ at the end of October to spread my mum’s ashes on this lovely beach as per her requests.

It’ll be spring there so should be a nice couple weeks despite the purpose. I haven’t figured out what other cities of my childhood I’ll visit or what silly things I will do this trip (last time was driving an entire island myself after only having my license in Canada for a year, bungy jumping, jet boating and attempting to sky dive - the weather didn’t hold).

Okay, call me crazy, but biodad has settled in Panama and extended an invite for me to visit (visit/meet him for the first time - whatever you want to call it) and I am actually looking at plane fares. I won’t be able to go for a bit, but it’s pretty tempting. He’s taken residence in this tropical paradise called Bocas del Toro .

How can you resist this beach? I am not sure I can…
