Final day

Looking forward to my own bed and furry buddies, but sad to leave still. After we packed up and got our coffee, we headed to the east village for brunch and shopping. After eating at Virage, we happened upon some great stores on 9th, including Fabulous Fanny’s for vintage glass frames, designer Jill Anderson (cutest pants/skirts thing was bought) and An Ren (and a jacket!).

After we broke the bank, we headed back uptown to Rockefeller Centre so we could go up to the “Top of the Rock” for a real view of the city.

After that quick look, we headed back up 5th to Central Park to observe the locals basking in the sun. Last stop was a diner for lunch before we went back to the hotel to grab our bags and get to our flight.

We didn’t get home until 1 am Sunday night and boy did it feel good, but I had a great time in NY and want to go back when I have more time to spend and when there are more opportunities to go out late at night and be part of the city. I’ll let you know when that is.
