Things I learned this weekend
1. I am a huge sucker for a cute kitten wearing a cone who is smart enough to know that if she gets me scratching her chin, she can easily manipulate me into letting her sleep with her head resting on my fingers inside the cone for hours at a time.
2. ‘Charmed’ is cancelled, as is ‘Godiva’s’ (which isn’t that upsetting). And it doesn’t appear they will bring Shannen back to ‘Charmed’ before the end.
3. Eggs benedict served on a croissant are a very good thing (yay Stella’s).
4. The first episode of the ‘Gilmore Girls’ was filmed in a small town in Ontario, which is the basis for Stars Hollow now.
5. I love coke floats as much as I did when I was little.
6. The Dunbar balcony is still my favourite theatre in the city to watch a movie, even though I still love Tinseltown due to proximity and comfy chairs (plus the whole Coke-and-butter-theatre factors).
7. Michael Madsen and Virginia Madsen are brother and sister. And Michael (who I stupidly turned down a chance to interview while at CITR because I was too nervous) is also a poet who just published his first collection. ‘Behind the Bash’ is such an informative show!
8. I am turning into some exercise crazed freak. Yoga on a Sunday morning is an excellent way to start the day.
9. There is such a thing as eating too much sausage, especially when combined with too much wine and loads of Boursin.
10. I can survive an entire weekend not knowing what is waiting for me on my email account due to the server going down on Friday. Pretty impressive for this blackberry addict.
