Glutes day
Day 3 and I’m feeling pretty good. I totally admit that getting up at 6 am today was harder than it was on Monday and Tuesday. Bed was soft and warm. Kitten was purring next to me. But, I did it and I feel good. It’s very cool to be working outside next to False Creek at sunrise. Today was glutes day (I know, the title gave it away). So a walk, then 40 minutes of glutes exercises, then a 15 minute run - which I ran even though we were allowed to do walking intervals. We were very proud of ourselves. Much improvement from Monday’s run when I could still feel the cigarettes I smoked while out on Saturday night. I haven’t had a smoke since then, and haven’t wanted one so I could feel the difference today in my lungs. Gotta say, this is pretty good. Except for the trouble walking down stairs because my thighs are so stiff, and the fact that tomorrow is arms day so more push-ups.
